the WORD JESUS endures forever

It’s good to do a course change when there appears to be something not right. Fun for me is Scripture. JESUS is fun. Happiness is Christ. Life for me is Christ JESUS.  My God since a very tender young age. JESUS is it. The WORD is it and all else just diverts me from being fixed on JESUS. As boring as it may seem ….. Scripture is God inspired and God breathed. The WORD is Christ our LORD. HE is the way the TRUTH and the life. We can do do do do do ……. but in the end if we do not do what Scripture says it leads us away from Christ JESUS. It’s this simple. I get it. Or, I got it at a very young age as a young mother in her early twenties. Turn turn turn and face my Saviour Redeemer. Face to face. Even if I gain the whole world I have nothing cos I have lost Christ. No place is better hidden than in the WORD of God cos JESUS is the WORD and HE is our strong tower. Our ROCK. For me …. I finally get it. Stay in the WORD all the way home. Rest in the WORD of God all the way home. It’s the shortest point from A to Z. O so I join in the masses in this narrow path. So many walk this walk and take this path. It’s edifying. It’s sanctifying. It glorifies the LORD. O how much we need Christ with us along this walk home. How berry berry much we need HIM. HE stops us in our tracks. Nothing is by chance. Nothing happens that is by coincidence. We just have to keep our senses in tune with the Holy Spirit and turn.

This worship song came to mind when I found this pin of JESUS carrying us. Me in particular.

What better place to be in than in the embrace of JESUS. To be held close to HIS heart and loved with HIS everlasting LOVE.

Safe and assured.

25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

Jesus, Founder and Perfecter of Our Faith

……. and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,  looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Heb 12:1b–2). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.
