16 I urge you, then, be imitators of me.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (1 Co 4:16). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

11 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (1 Co 11:1). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

Walk in Love

5 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Eph 5:1–2). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

17 Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Php 3:17–17). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

6 And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit, 7 so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia. 8 For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (1 Th 1:5–8). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

14 For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus ……….

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (1 Th 2:14). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

7 For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you, 8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (2 Th 3:7–8). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

11 And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Heb 6:11–12). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

7 Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and gimitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is hthe same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Heb 13:7–9). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

11 Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (3 Jn 11). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (2 Co 2:15–16). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

17 When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. 18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram,

15 Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Heb 9:15). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Jas 1:22). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and ball the more as you see the Day drawing near.

7 How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

  1. Hi, I’m stopping by from today’s link up at Coffee for Your Heart!

Can I just say that you have adorable feet? I love that you shared a picture of them along with Isaiah 52:7. That is one of my absolute favorite verses! I was called to missions about 9 years ago (when I was 15 years old). That verse was very dear to my heart in those first few months after receiving the call. I had no idea what the future would hold for me, but I just had this incredible burden on my heart from spreading the Good News and the peace and happiness that it brings! Thank you for that fond reminder today!
