The Peace That Surpasses All Understanding

I ❤ my church.
It’s been a very hard week for me and my husband. We were alright until this Monday and Tuesday. It was so hard but deep in prayer and supplication for my father-in-law, we found peace in his eternity with Jesus. It is a most terrible feeling to believe that we shall never meet again. We have had the most enjoyable, loving, fun-filled laughter and happiness in the last twenty years together. Both with my father and mother-in-law. It has been the greatest adventure and to think it all ends is the most depressing feeling anyone could have. So much so that we were not doing well at all at the beginning of the week. I know the flesh is weak so I sought the Lord in the Spirit for answers. And He answered me.
I once read that when you arrive in heaven there is a great party as the angelic hosts form a line you walk through and tears of divine eternal happiness falls from their eyes welcoming us home. There is a party in heaven. Ken’s mum is there. All the family.
With this promise in our hearts by faith we found peace in the Scripture verses the Lord gave us.
There is nothing worse than knowing you will not see your loved ones again. Never ever and that they are in the fiery pit of eternal damnation.
Praise be the Lord this will never be because of the prayers of the saints. Jesus’ loved ones. And God’s grace of salvation. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. He is the only way to the father. To heaven. For all eternity. All time.
