Through The Door On To A Plateau

Psalm 55:22

Cast your burden on the LORD,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved

When I woke up this morning with this song that would not stop I saw that what was once passed. As a horse that is girdled for a race. The bit put into its mouth and blinkers and blinders put on so that it would run straight. The process of this walk. Used to feel the pull and bending of the Word so that I would walk and then run according to the Word. It used to hurt like bowling and the form. Without the form you cannot strike. Likewise with the Word. If you do not walk accordingly, you will stray and then stuff happens. Now I do not need to be girdled nor a bit put in nor a blinder. So that I will walk straight along the narrow path. A life long process of this journey. Freedom in Christ.

I sorta was happy through the door to the next level but not really looked nor thought. And I found a plateau. Of solid ROCK. Jesus is the ROCK.

What does this mean?

What does it mean with so little grains of rice in my hand like this?

In the game this is it. The best that can ever be achieved and this is it. Final. Some get here, many don’t. The limitations of man.

Here is where I rest in my bible. Study it. Read it. Enjoy it.

We all fall short of the glory of God that none may boast but the cross of our salvation. By the blood of the lamb. Jesus taught us about peace and the kingdom that is within us. He gave us many parables of what it is like. He never hurt anyone. People just walked away  because they could not do it. People stayed because they thought it was all about the current world. But we all know it’s about what is to come. Our heavenly home. Heaven and earth will pass and there will be a new heaven and a new earth and we will live and reign with Christ forevermore. Think everyone would love to know what eternity and heaven is all about. It gives them something to dream for. Even me.

All will pass away but the word endures forever.

Jesus is the word.
