Hebrews 12:2 (ESV)
2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
It has really been lovely getting in touch with my early teenage friends. They are so funny.
Today Sophie started to do better after I had adjusted her shoes and sliders. Then a new ball and now the thumb and fingers are solidly clad in her ball. It took one game to adjust the right feel in the thumb of her ball. We are going to have to change the thumb grip in her ball as well as the finger grips as well, as they are far too loose. What a bother. I told her to bowl in the tournament for two weeks straight so that she can overcome the fear of competition. What better way than to compete to overcome this fear.
Home Group was exceptionally funny as Franklin shared all we know about conversion and salvation and sanctification. It was so funny, his wife had to stop him after two hours. We are just having so much fun in our home group. We never even got to the Holy Spirit part, just the Holy Spirit at conversion.
I need to complete my IST on ‘Great Commission Strategies’ tonight and study for the exam on Monday for the next couple of days. Then complete the essays and hand them all in. Then, I shall start my next study on ‘Genesis’ for Global University, The Bible And Theology.
The load seems to be lighter now and summer is upon us. My home is still so many degrees hotter than outside. God is with us. Holy Spirit fire. Thank you for your heartfelt prayers of the Holy Spirit in our home and in our lives.
Well, it has been a tremendous day of coaching and home group so I shall finish off my day with bible study. A good reminder that in all of this Jesus is the centre of it all.
Also, I have volunteered as a Leader in the Alpha for eight weeks. So there is much to do in these eight weeks.
In all of this, to God be the glory.
