My Heart As An Offering To My King

It’s this simple. When the crucified body of Christ is ever before you, you fall deeply in love with Him. This is Christ our Lord. The great I Am. I’m truly captivated by His agape love for me. Call me stupid and silly if you must but my eyes see see see the salvation of our Lord. The world does not know Him. I know Him. This is the Christ, so there is no misunderstanding who is Lord in my life. Jesus is Lord!!!

It’s just all about Jesus and His cause and His will and His purpose. Eternity with Christ and Him alone. Well, with everyone else who believes, as well. Are you all here dancing and singing and tapping and in the joy joy joy of the Lord in His divine happiness!!!

So well if you just think it’s just me, you’ve got it all wrong. Our youth are madly in love  with Jesus as well. Our worship leader Stephen from Bethel is singing this in every worship. 

Love is in the air for Christ our Lord. 

In the elderly like me and in our youth. The next generation.

 

Whether it’s us oldies or this generation or our teens, even our little ones, we sing love songs to Jesus.

Life Is Exceptionally Good

Life is good. Life is perfect. Life is wonderful. Life is Jesus Jesus Jesus. We are moving so we are cleaning up the new place and packing boxes. Again. It’s kinda exciting as I just wait upon the Lord to see what He is going to do and what He is going to say and how He is going to work things out for me. Love it. The revealing of His plans and His will in my life. Think these last couple of weeks has been amazing seeing the love that Jesus has for me. It’s all Jesus. Just all Jesus and I just respond to Jesus’ love. 

Live life totally Scriptural. Study the Word and do all that it says. Make the right choices and do not turn to the left nor the right and walk with our eyes totally and absolutely fixed on Christ our Lord. In His light. Covered by His blood. 

And and and, enjoy the journey. It’s exiting and not boring. It’s full of the goodness of life and not of this world. It’s heavenly and nothing that’s about the all the things around me though they are. It’s all about His kingdom come and not about me. I’m just His empty vessel and just a part of His will. 

The Love Of Christ Our Lord Drives Me

What year is this?

I get lost in it all. Lost in the love of Christ Jesus our Lord. When I see Him Face to face on that day, I shall be most joyous. Not sad nor down trodden.

Happy happy happy.

Why?

This is a really good place of divine happiness.

What drives me?

The love of Jesus drives me. Seeing Him on the cross drives me like it drove the apostle and disciples of the first century church. So, I’m a little bit different. So what!!! Jesus made me this way. He did it all. Salvation and the grace of God that lives in me. His light shines in me by His grace and love for the salvation for all men who believe that He is the Son of God. He was crucified. He died. He was buried. He rose. 

So, it is this simple. So simple it’s just so hard to believe!!!

I just want to take His light. Jesus’ light and shine it all around.

Staying In The One Spot

Matthew 28:20

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

 

In this quick fix, change change world, everyone is trying everything out once. Maybe twice or thrice. But in time, as the change change gets into the system, people are running around doing different things all the time. There is no constant. There is no one thing. There are lots and lots and lots of stuff here and there and everywhere. So much that the one thing that is most important, the Lord is even lost in the frenzy of the desire of doing it all. 

I was in the Elite Athletes Association Twentieth Annual Dinner the other night. We are all elite athletes in our sport and the lady went round with this post. ‘Be quiet!!!’ I laughed. Did she not know that to be an elite athlete we hardly ever get to talk because we are so focused on the sport we gave fallen in love with. Totally. So at this gathering, where we are all the same, it’s good to meet and talk about the times we met in some far off country when we were competing, just to say hello as even then there was no time to talk. hahahahahahahaha

Everyone is changing everything. People come and go. Even in their hearts. 

You can say that I’ve finally got this love thing. Again. hahahahahahaha Actually, I actually had it all the time. Just wanted to play. 

O Lord, why numbers. I will learn something from Numbers. Life is tough. hahahahahahahaha

Go there, come here. Do this. Then that. No, something else completely new. So yes, people have it all. Like there is no end to the all you can learn about and see and do and go to and be there, there, there, there, ……….. and so it goes on. In the end, lots lots lots lots of everything. All things. 

In elite sport we focus on the details of the sport to enhance it. We talk about the most minute things. Unseen by others this is why we are at the ranking we are at. Things others do not see as well, they are trying to do so many so many other things instead. Change the coach. The friend. The husband. The boyfriend. No staying power. In the end that so small detail gets the win win. A slight change of a part of the body that is not visible to the eye. A couple of degrees in the angle on a part of the body which you have not ever tried to deliver the goods and the result is astounding. Attention to the small details can only be found when you’ve been at it for decades and decades and decades. 

This is why marriages are at its best after decades. When you know everything about you husband. Your love for your husband is deep. Deeper than the deepest ocean. Sadly, even today no one has staying power in marriages as well. They change husbands like the love of food. 

We have a confused world out there. Let’s not bring the confusion into our lives by not being consistent. Consistency will only and ever be found in the Word. The Word of God. Christ our Lord. Jesus is the Word. 

Jesus is beautiful at this mountain top!!!

Sanctification

How important it is to live in line with Scripture and Scripture be totally and fully a part of our everyday lives. This is a fact. What goes in, finally finds its way into our hearts and from our hearts our mouth speaks. All the answers we will ever need is found in Scripture. God’s ways are higher than our ways. His ways are righteous and just. He teaches us to walk upright in His statutes and ordinances. It will be well with us when we live out Scripture. When we choose the Lord and  not the ungodly things of this world, darkness. Light verses darkness. When we sink in deep and bury ourselves in Scripture, we are spending intimate time with Christ our Lord. He is the Word. Jesus, the Christ is the Word of God. His story is for all eternity with Him in His kingdom. 

You will find in your life the kairos moments that connects the dots in your lives that draws you deeply and intimately to Christ our Lord. Circumstances hinder our walk at moments in time but as in Daniel when Michael was detained for twenty-one days before he could come and tell Daniel his prayer had been answered. So it is in our lives. The important thing is to get here. One step at a time. One day at a time. Most importantly to live out Scripture in those one days and one steps. At a time. Patience.

God Is Good All The Time

We had a discussion on our cruise on our dining table. The gentleman started to argue the point that Jesus did not die and he told us to look things up like this on google and to check out all the other books that are not in the cannon. Things that Jesus was not very nice as a child. 

I just told him I only use Scripture. Final. 

He continued but I stood my ground. No other books that are not in the Canon. I did not argue about the wrong doctrine. Was there any point!!!

When I read in our Global University IST that we are to study one book of Scripture at a time, I started to join a Precept Upon Precept bible study. I asked the Lord but why Leviticus though I did so want to study the book. It just seemed pretty hard. In September we are doing Numbers. Why Numbers Lord. 

Today He answered me after answering me during the cruise. 

When I started Leviticus, I had asked Janet for the answer book but her prompt reply was, ‘Just Scripture. There is no answer book.’ 

Life is tough. 

I have been blessed throughout the years of being discipled and disciplined in just Scripture. Most importantly, the main points. The important parts to build a solid foundation.

Today in Sunday School we taught on John 1:1-4. One of my favourite books years back and I translated just about the first four chapters back to its original Greek. Then read all the commentaries on it. So, the teens can teach it. They know what it means. 

I have no complaints. Life is good as God is good all the time. 

Think our Sunday School song says it all about Jesus.

We shared how a good marriage parallels with our intimacy with Christ our Lord in our Home Group last Friday night. When we learn to love our husbands intimately, we thus learn to love Jesus intimately as well.
